Meet with us for a complimentary 30-minute consultation. Tell us about your concerns and we will help you decide the best option to fit your needs.
Our process continues with information gathering. This can include virtual meetings or phone calls, emails, and sharing pervious reports or other documentation with us. Our goal is to truly understand your child's needs as well as your family's vision for their education. We may ask some families to complete brief surveys or questionnaires to ensure we've captured the full picture.
We will dedicate some time to ensuring you understand the procedural pieces relevant to your case. This is a crucial aspect of our process. We strive for every family to feel truly included in their child's IEP or 504 process. Education boosts confidence so that families can participate in meaningful ways.
Using a combination of collaborative problem-solving and coaching, we'll develop a plan to address your concerns and the unique needs of your child. We will strategize effective solutions to discuss with your child's school team. Your advocate will give you tools to keep paperwork organized and resources to organize your thoughts. Our goal is to be prepared for a collaborative team meeting with your child's best interests at the center of every discussion point and decision.
Some action plans involve your advocate observing your child, sometimes in more than one setting. Together with your advocate, you may also decide that advocate participation at your child's meeting(s) should be included in your plan. Every recommendation is tailored to your family's needs and all decisions are made together as a team.
Special education can be a very nuanced process. No matter where the road twists and turns, you will not navigate it alone!
Just as important as getting the right plan in place for your child is ensuring that the plan is executed with fidelity (implemented as written). Further, progress monitoring is crucial to ensure your child is making progress. Resilience Road will not only give you tools to help ensure things are on track- we'll also personally follow up with you to make sure your child is progressing and no new concerns have come up.
If you are seeking short-term or one-time support, hourly services may be the best fit for your needs.

Navigating your child's educational and behavioral needs can involve a lot of people, information, appointments, recommendations, and decisions. Resilience Road's case management services help families bring those pieces together and keep everyone moving toward the same goals.
We work alongside families to organize information, coordinate communication among professionals and school teams, track recommendations and next steps, and help ensure that important concerns don't get lost along the way. When appropriate and authorized by the family, we can help facilitate communication between members of a child's support team and promote greater consistency across settings.
Case management services may include:
Case management is designed to coordinate and organize support—not replace the professionals responsible for providing it.
Resilience Road does not provide medical care, mental health treatment, legal services, or legal representation as part of case management. We do not diagnose conditions, make medical or therapeutic decisions, or direct the clinical practice of other providers.
Case management also does not replace special education advocacy services or the responsibilities of a child's school team, medical providers, therapists, or other professionals. Rather, we work with families to help facilitate communication, clarify responsibilities, and keep everyone informed and working toward shared goals.
We will only communicate with schools, providers, or other professionals with the family's knowledge and appropriate authorization. Families remain the primary decision-makers regarding their child's care and education.
The case manager's role is to help families navigate the road—not to take the wheel.
Our goal isn't to add another layer of complexity—it’s to make the path easier to navigate. By helping families coordinate information, communication, and next steps, Resilience Road helps create a more connected and collaborative team around each child.
